Event: Microsoft's The New Efficiency Event. ;)

Assalamualaikum,

Woah, I spent about a whole day at the Microsoft's event of the year, The New Efficiency which was held at KL Convention Centre. Honestly, this is the best IT event ever for me after the PC Fair. I gained a lot of advance IT knowledge and also, a lot of goodies, haha :D



Eh, nape Arib cakap English tiba2 nih? (wekk, grammar pun tunggang-langgang =.=) Haha, you all tau tak, sepanjang event tadi, Arib kena cakap English nih. Woah, it's the first experience that I speak English in the public, selalunya kat sekolah jew. (itu pun jarang-jarang)



The New Efficiency merupakan sebuah event yang dikhususkan untuk golongan IT Professional bagi menggalakan penjimatan dalam menguruskan kerja mereka berlandaskan cogan kata Microsoft, "Doing More, With Less". The New Efficiency kali ini berfokuskan kepada tiga elemen Microsoft yang utama iaitu Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, dan Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. Syarikat yang menggunakan sistem operasi Windows 7 dan Windows Server 2008 R2 dapat mengurangkan penggunaan tenaga serta kos yang banyak. Dalam The New Efficiency ini, terdapat empat trek iaitu trek yang pertama Windows 7 diikuti Windows Server 2008 R2, Unified Communications, dan Developer yang dijalankan di dewan yang berlainan. Setiap trek mempunyai empat sesi kesemuanya.

Hah, Arib memilih ke trek Windows 7 :) Hmm, banyak aktiviti best sepanjang masa break dekat Hall 2, satu pun Arib tak masuk, segan laah, takde orang nak temankan, huh! Aktiviti yang Arib rasa paling best ialah The Ultimate Guru Quiz. Soalan boleh tahan susah jugak, tapi hadiah dia, fuhh, Lenovo Notebook berharga RM6199 :D Woah, congratulations to the winner, En. Azani :) Terlompat-lompat abang tuu :P

The New Efficiency Agenda (Windows 7 Track) (*Sorry for the English ;D)
At morning, 9.30 am till 12.00 noon, Keynote Session. After lunch, continued with Windows 7 track The Value of the Optimized Desktop by Kumar Krishnasamy from Microsoft. And the next session, Make People Productive Anywhere with the Optimized Desktop by Ng Wei Keong from Microsoft & Vincent Choy from HP. Woah, a little quite boring, sorry guys! 2.45 pm till 3.30 pm break time. 3.30 pm, Securing and Managing Your Information Driven World with Symantec and Microsoft By Marcus Loh, Symantec Corporation and Reducing Costs by Streamlining PC Management with the Optimized Desktop By Lim Fun Jin, ISA Technologies. The best and last presentation is about topic Streamlining PC Management with the Optimized Desktop, have a lot of information and knowledge sharing ;D

Benefit?
Benefit from the new efficiency that help lower costs and put the business on a trajectory for growth, get more from the existing systems, with solutions that work together and are interoperable, simplify IT infrastructure management to help lower costs and manage compliance demands, to build on existing skills, with new innovations based on familiar Microsoft processes and interfaces, backed by a huge base of support and connect people to information, using products with advanced features.
